The Director-General of NIMASA, Dakuku Peterside, has commended Rivers State workers for their sacrifices and productivity towards the growth and productivity of the state.
Dakuku Peterside in a message to mark this year’s worker’s day praised the workers who he said have endured tough times under the administration of Governor Wike and have soldiered on, despite obvious challenges.
Dakuku alleged that several workers are being owed salaries for months, while pensioners have been turned to beggars, over the inability of the Wike-led administration to pay them their legitimate entitlement.
The NIMASA boss charged workers not to relent in their effort to make the state better, and assured them that an All Progressive CCongress-led Government in Rivers State come 2019, will better their lots and make them fulfill their hopes and aspirations.
