RVSG announces closure of Casablanca intersection road

The Rivers State Government has announced the closure of the intersection road along the popular Casablanca restaurant and bar in GRA.

The Commissioner of works in the state, Dum Deekor, who made the announcement, said the closure is to enable the state Government effect major repairs along the road.

He appealed to motorists plying the road to bear with the ministry over the closure of the road.

“There’s this intersection from between Woji Road and the one that takes you into the famous Casablanca.

“We are going to block this road.

“From 6am tomorrow it will be closed to traffic.

“The reason is very simple, we need to ensure that we do this, and it will last for about 1 week.

“We call on all road users and those who live around this place, to bear with Government especially the Rivers State ministry of works.

“Within this one week, we hope that we would have concluded the major works we have to do here. We have also created a diversion.

“We regret the inconveniences that people have to suffer.
