VEDAN Inaugrates Principal officers for Rivers State

The Vocational Entrepreneurship Development Association Nigeria, on Thursday, 26th April 2018, inaugurated the Rivers State chapter of the organization.

The National President of VEDAN, Mr Madu Walters, while carrying out the inauguration said that the organization is interested in human capacity development and building, that empowers, trains and retrains, provide advocacy and legal cover for members across the country.

He further went ahead to say that the major aim of the organization is to make people build their businesses and achieve self reliance, while contributing positively to the economy. He equally said that VEDAN wants to take youths off the streets by providing loans for members to grow their businesses.

On the expectations from the just inaugurated principal officers of Rivers State, the National President Dr Madu Walters maintained that he expects them to carry out their duties effectively and work very hard to help VEDAN find it’s feet in Rivers State.

Responding on behalf of the Rivers State chapter of VEDAN, the state Chairman, Mrs. Helen Ebi ware, thanked the National President Dr. Madu Walters for the opportunity given to the executive members to serve VEDAN in the state. Mrs. Ebi Ware promised that the Rivers State branch will carry out their duties effectively and ensure VEDAN achieves it’s aims and objectives in the State.

Those inaugurated into the Rivers State executive committee of VEDAN, include;

Ebiware Nnebuogo Helen – State Chairman

Stanley .U. Ezerie – State Secretary

Adeshola Adefarasin – State Treasurer

Etuk Maureen Ekaete – Head of Orientation program

Ebi Okurah – Head of Women Development

Owiriwa Joy Ogonda – Welfare, Loan facilitation and recovery

Uzoigwe Jane Chioma – State Financial Secretary

Diidi John Kpoobari – State Publicity Secretary

Amachree Victor Songo – State Provost

Ebiware Felix – Head of professionals
