A Cow on Saturday, delivered Siamese twins in assisted delivery . The rare delivery took place in Uganda.
The cow, delivered a calf with two fully developed separate heads that joined at the torso into one body with green colour of the calf’s eyes.
While the baby died during delivery, the Mother Cow is alive and well. The vet who assisted the delivery, Ronald Muyomba, explained that it is very rare, indeed! It was his first, after years of delivering calves.
He also explained that whenever such rare special babies are born to human beings, people blame contraceptives for modifying the foetus. However, it is unlikely to find cows taking contraception. And so, these Siamese Twins are a special blessing of nature. But of course some people will blame witchcraft!
