Agbo clinches first career trophy, appreciates fans

Nigeria’s Super Eagles midfielder Uche Agbo, is in cloud nine as he captured his first career trophy.

The Former Granada player was in action on Saturday as Standard Liege piped Genk 1-0 in extra time with Renaud Emond netting the goal.

Agbo joined Standard Liege from the Spanish side Granada last summer.

The player reacted on his instagram page on Sunday morning.

“All thanks to Almighty God. First cup achievement in my career. History in the making. I thank everyone for the support. Standard Liege fans 100% #BLESS”

The player is among players invited for Serbia and Poland friendly.
