I will pioneer Degema to a greater height – Ipalibo Sogules

Former managing director of Rivers State Microfinance Agency, Dr. Ipalibo Sogules, on Wednesday, declared his intentions to run for the office of Chairman, Degema Local Government Area in the June 2018 Local Government Elections under the umbrella of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

The Bakana-born banker made his intention known in the presence of party officials and people of Degema.

Dr. Ipalibo said that his quest to vie for office was necessitated by the desire to uplift Degema and make it a pride to be envied in the State.

He maintained that it is his desire to pioneer Degema to a greater height with empowerment in all sectors.

Present during the ceremony was the Degema Chairman of the PDP, Chief. Tonye Tyger JP, who led other Stakeholders and Ward Chairmen of the Party to acknowledge the intentions of Dr. Sogules.

Also present was a former CTC Chairman, Hon. Ombo Benibo, who said that the LGA needs credible leaders and urged Degema people vote wisely.
