Entertainers in Portharcourt met on Saturday at the popular Ediz wine bar to strategize ahead of slated events for the year.
The meeting which was chaired by ace comedian, K. O Baba had artist from both the music, comedy and fashion industry in attendance.
The theme of the meeting was hinged on strategy to move the industry forward.
K. O Baba, who spoke to TPCN after the meeting expressed gladness for the massive turn up.
He said that the meeting was necessitated by the need for Entertainers across the city to unite and make strategic plans on how to move the industry forward.
He maintained that the industry in Portharcourt is rich in talents but noted, however, that these talents are not being nurtured properly as it is supposed to.
He reiterated that the upcoming conference will expose young artists to opportunities bound in the state saying that Portharcourt has everything.
In his remark, Jason, who is a sound engineer said that the industry in Portharcourt is an untapped goldmine and wondered why it has not been found worthy of the type of investment that it needs to grow.
Also at the meeting were Laxbury, Godzboi and many others.
