Akpala makes Belgium Jupiler league team of the week.

Former Super Eagles striker Joseph Akpala is gradually working his way back to reckoning in football, through his Belgium Jupiler side Oostende.

The Former Insurance of Benin forward was on target for his team Oostende on Sunday, as they secured a much needed victory over Gent who also has Moses Simon in their line up.

Akpala hit the second goal in the 3-2 win and has hand in the winning goal.

The player was on Monday selected among the Team of the Week in Jupiler league.

The skilful forward has represented Nigeria’s Super Eagles in the past under the tutelage of late Stephen Keshi.
