Eleme defection: No cause for alarm – Chris Finebone

The Rivers State Chapter of the All Progressive Congress has said that the defection of some members of the party to the Peoples Democratic party in Eleme Local Government Area is ridiculous and inconsequential.

The party, reacting through its Publicity Secretary, Mr. Chris Finebone, on Wednesday in Portharcourt, said that the defection will have no significant effect on the party’s build up and structure as the Party is still intact both in the State and at the Federal level.

He said: “These individuals of questionable background should say the truth about the game that they are playing.

“The APC leadership in the state is aware that the defectors are playing John the Baptist as directed by their Master whose one leg is in the PDP and the other in the APC.

” We wish him and his ragtag army a safe trip to their destination”

Mr. Finebone also stated that the defection will not affect the Party in any way and maintained that Eleme Local Government Area has been one of its stronghold in the State.

He, however, urged the people of the Area and the State at large to get there Permanent Voters Card in order to vote rightly in the 2019 General Elections.
