Rivers state government shut down 4 private schools.

Rivers State Ministry of Education has shut down 4 private schools over failure to comply with the approved date of Fri & Mon as midterm break.

This was made known by the commissioner for Education, Hon Tamunosisi Gogo Jaja during a chat with the press.

Although the names of the schools were not revealed, the commissioner stated that the schools will remain shut until further notice to serve as deterrence to others.
