Cult clash leaves 4 dead in Rivers State.

4 persons have reportedly been beheaded and another killed on Friday in another wave of cult clashes.

The incident happened at Omerelu community, Ikwerre Local Govt Area of Rivers State.

It was learnt that the four persons were beheaded on Thursday morning while another was killed on Friday.

This is coming on a day that the Rivers State House of Assembly passed the Anti-cultism and other related matters.

Two of the victims were simply identified as Omereji and Ezekiel.

Security operatives have moved into the community, but even with their presence, frightened residents are fleeing Omerelu

Police Public Relations Officer, Rivers Command, Nnamdi Omoni, acknowledged hint on the incident but said he needed time for a clear situation report.
