The office in Yenagoa will accommodate the Council for New Nigeria and the Women and Youth Empowerment Programme (WOYEP).The office was commissioned by Senator Ita Enang, Special Adviser to President Buhari on Legislatives Matters. The Chairman, NCBSG Board of Trustees (BOT), Senator Abu Ibrahim, assisted him.
Addressing supporters at the venue, Enang reeled out the achievements of the All Progressives Congress (APC) government in the past three years. He said Buhari has succeeded in tackling corruption and turning the economy around. He said the achievements in area of agriculture are obvious to Nigerians.
Enang said government meant well with the introduction of ranching in states, but that opposition politicians were kicking against the policy with a view to derailing it and casting the government in a bad light.
Ibrahim commended the Council of New Nigeria for opening the office in support of the president’s re-election in 2019.He said the Council is the first of over 200 Buhari Support Groups under NCBSG to open an office and commended the leadership of the group led by Chief Emma Aworoh.
