2019: Chief Kokoba leads thousands of loyalists into PDP.

Thousands of Non-Indinges resident in Rivers State on Friday, decamped to the People Democratic Party (PDP) from the All Progressive Congress (APC).

The group led by the former leader of Non-Indinges Without Boarders, Chief Uchenna Kokoba said that their action was necessitated by the changing political realities in the state and the need to align with the party where their interests will be met.

The Rivers State Chairman of the PDP, Bro Felix Obuah was on hand to receive them on behalf of the Governor.

Mr. Obuah commended the group for their thoughtful decision and assured them that their interests in the party will be met, stressing that the party is a big family for everyone.

He equally assured them of equal treatment in the party but however maintained that Hon Onowu remains the leader of Non Indigenes in Rivers PDP and urged him to carry all along for a stronger PDP .

In his goodwill message while receiving the group, the leader of the Non-Indinges in Rivers State, Hon Emeka Onowu Anyasodike, declared that the return of Chief Okokoba and his followers was informed by the excellent performance of the Wike-led administration in Rivers State.

Hon Onowu Anyasodike, assured the group of inclusive Leadership of Non Indigenes without borders in Rivers State.
