Develop Reading Culture for Success- Says Andoni SOLAD’s Wife

To mark this year’s Children’s Day, Professor Amie Francis, wife of the Andoni Sole Administrator, encouraged children in Andoni Local Government Area to cultivate a reading culture to secure a brighter future.

Speaking at a celebration themed “Children: Our Future and Our Responsibility” in Ngo Town, she emphasized that with the right environment and support, children can excel in various fields.

To foster critical thinking, research, and creativity, Professor Francis announced plans to establish reading and production clubs in schools across the LGA.

The initiative received praise from HRH Urang Job, Zonal Director of the Senior Secondary Schools Board, who described it as a significant step towards educational advancement.

During the celebration, school children shared their experiences and lessons learned.

Professor Francis also observed a march parade by students, highlighting the importance of promoting children’s welfare.

The Universal Children’s Day, established by the United Nations in 1954, is celebrated in Nigeria on May 27 to recognize children’s rights and well-being.
