A good way to use ergonomics in the workplace is by following some of these easy exercise tips. These can be done at your desk throughout the day to help keep you healthy. Stretching frequently will help your muscle from tensing up. Also, A few neck rolls will help keep your neck from feeling tight or strained. Moving your legs in a circular motion will help increase blood flow as well as keep them from feeling heavy and restless. You should move all of your body parts frequently during the day to help release stress and tension.

Your eyes need exercise to keep them strong and healthy just like the rest of your body. Staring at a computer screen for long stretches of time can seriously strain and damage your eyes. One great way to relax your eyes is to close them for 15-20 seconds and breathe in and out. This is actually a double exercise it helps your eyes and will help ease any tension you are feeling. Also, try looking up at the ceiling and down to the floor then back and forth. You should do this slowly especially if you are prone to motion sickness. If your eyes ever start to sting or burn while you are working take a break immediately. The pain is your eye tells you they are being stressed and need a break.

By following these simple rules for ergonomics you will feel better and have a happier life.
