Ogu/Bolo Rolls Out School Support for Disadvantaged Students

Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area has launched a new program. It provides school supplies and uniforms for disadvantaged students. This initiative ensures all children access education without financial barriers. It addresses the challenge of school dropouts caused by inability to afford basic necessities. The program aims to level the playing field. It gives every child the chance to attend school comfortably. It reduces the burden on struggling families. Education officials emphasize dignity and inclusion are crucial for learning.

The support scheme identifies students through community leaders and school records. It focuses on families facing economic hardship. Each beneficiary receives a complete set of school uniforms, textbooks, notebooks, and writing materials. This provision allows children to attend classes prepared and confident. Local tailors and suppliers contribute to the program. This supports the local economy. The distribution events saw many happy children and grateful parents.
