Administrator, Revenue Committees Meet to Address Challenges


‎In a bid to improve revenue generation for efficient local government administration, the Administrator of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area, Dr. Ndu Walter held a strategic meeting with Chairmen and Secretaries of Revenue Mobilization Committees at the Council Secretariat in Rumuodomaya.

‎Dr. Walter, while addressing the field officers, urged them to maintain a high level of commitment and proactiveness in carrying out their responsibilities.

He assessed the progress of ongoing revenue mobilization efforts to strengthen coordination among the various teams.


‎‎Further, he encouraged them to promptly report any field-related challenges for timely intervention by the Council. The Administrator stressed the value of teamwork, noting that lasting success can only be achieved through unity, discipline, and a shared sense of purpose.

‎The participants at the strategic session expressed their appreciation to the Administrator for the opportunity to engage in dialogue and strategize collectively. ‎They also highlighted some of the operational challenges they face on the field which Dr. Walter promptly pledged to address swiftly.
