Breaking News: UNILAG Staff School Pupils Shine in ISL Entrance Exams

 

In a momentous achievement, jubilation erupts as 10 students from the University of Lagos Staff School emerge as top performers in the International School Entrance Exams. These remarkable pupils have not only showcased their exceptional academic prowess but have also garnered widespread acclaim for their great achievements.

The results of the entrance exams, which were eagerly awaited, have now been announced, revealing the outstanding performance of the UNILAG Staff School students. With 10 students securing top positions, the school’s reputation for nurturing academic excellence is further solidified.

Among the top scorers are Ekejiuba Oluchi, Olaniyan Mutmainah, and Longe Abdulwahab, each achieving an impressive score of 91%. Their exceptional performance has not only brought pride to their school but has also captured the admiration of many.

Furthermore, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Development Services), Prof. Ayodele Atsenuwa, joined in applauding the brilliant pupils for their remarkable feat. With three out of the top five positions and seven out of the top ten spots secured by UNILAG Staff School students, it reaffirms the age-old adage that “the morning shows the day.”

The news of their achievement spread rapidly, with the school’s management taking to social media to celebrate their success. A tweet from the school’s official account exclaimed, “Pupils of the University of Lagos Staff School have again proven the truism that the Morning shows the Day, with their sterling performance in the Entrance Examinations in the International School, University of Lagos (ISL).”

The breakdown of the results further highlights the exceptional talent within the UNILAG Staff School community, with students such as Sunmonu Wuraola, Otunikan Oluwadarasimi, and Oseghale Ehimen achieving remarkable scores of 90%, 87%, and 87%, respectively.

In reaction to the outstanding achievement, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Folasade Ogunsola extended her heartfelt congratulations to the young scholars. In her message, she commended the students for their sterling performance and encouraged them to continue striving for greatness in their academic pursuits.

The success of these pupils not only reflects their individual dedication and hard work but also brings to light the commitment of the University of Lagos Staff School to nurturing and empowering its students to excel academically.
