The father of a 13yr old student, Mr Alfred Chima whose daughter was murdered in Etche Local Government Area of Rivers State has vowed, insisting that the killers of his daughter must pay for it.
Until her death, the deceased, Peace Chima was said to be an SS1 student of a Community Secondary School in Etche and hailed from the Amaku Mbah axis of Etche Local Government Area of the state.
The father of the victim who expressed his unforgiveness at the palace of the Royal Highness was quoted as saying that: “I will not keep quiet till the killers of my daughter are caught and face the consequence for killing my daughter even if I have to go spiritual.”
Recall, that the police had said that they are investigating the murder of Peace Chima, after the body of the teenager was found in Amaku Mbah Community in Etche LGA of the state.
It was gathered that the victim was brutally murdered while she was on an errand sent by her parents to Okehi from Amaku Mbah Community, all in Etche LGA.
The Community Development Committee Chairman in Amaku Mbah, Comrade Kingsley Nwanyanwu told our correspondent that the victim was kidnapped, killed and buried in a bush.
The spokesperson for the Etche Council of Elders, who was identified as Robinson said a suspect has been arrested in connection with the killing.
“We want to condemn the murder of the thirteen year old and as we speak right now, the police have arrested one suspect. The suspect is currently at the Okehi Divisional Police Station. The police are making more efforts to arrest other culprits who are involved in the murder of the young girl. The police are on the matter with the full support of the Chairman of Etche Local Government Area,” he said.
