The Nigerian Queen Organization in line with their beauty for purpose project paid a visit to the Okujagu community in Okrika Local Government Area in Rivers state.
The reigning Queen of the pageantry, Chikaodili Nna- Udosen led her team to the community amidst her fear for water.
She took to her Instagram handle to relay the purpose of the visit and how fulfilled she felt after the event.
She wrote, “Today I made a trip across the river to Okujagu Ama community for our beauty for purpose project, centred on health and education.
“As the reigning Nigerian queen, I took a step further to donate over 300 treated mosquito nets to different homes for the prevention of malaria which is still a major sickness in rural communities like Okujagu Ama.”
The reigning queen and her beauty for a purpose team also made donations of school bags, lunch boxes and water bottles to primary school children in the community in support of their education.
“I also gave out 200 school bags, 200 lunch boxes and 200 water bottles to primary school children in order to enable them to attend school. My team and I believe that this will encourage them to keep going to school” she said
