The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has threatened to hunt down Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike.
This follows the military assault on Oyigbo which was ordered by governor Wike in October 2020 over the aftermath of the #endsars protest where security operatives were allegedly killed.
Over 400 men women were abducted by soldiers from the LGA and detained in several military formations in Abuja and Niger state.
Kanu wrote on his Twitter account: “Anyone close to @GovWike should tell him that till the last days of his miserable life, he will be HUNTED down for all the atrocities he spearheaded against my people at #Obigbo. He will be hunted by legions, domestically & internationally. And it will be scorched-earth & fiery”.
