Assembly’s Adhoc committee demands CCTV footages from hotels where bodies were found

The Chairman, Adhoc Committee set up by the Rivers state House of Assembly to investigate the killings in Hotels in the state, Kelechi Nworgu, has directed hotels owners where the suspect, Gracious David West allegedly killed two of his victims to provide their CCTV footages.

Kelechi Nworgu, who is the member representing Omuma Constituency, issued the directive during a meeting with the Chairman and executive members of the Rivers State chapter of Nigeria Hotel Association.

The Lawmaker warned that the owners and management of the affected hotels would be treated as accomplices of Gracious David-West if the CCTV footages are presented edited.

Speaking with newsmen after the meeting, Chairman of the Nigeria Hotel Association in the state, Eugene Nwuzi said they are willing to cooperate with the Assembly and other stakeholders to get to the root of the matter.
