Finally, Buhari sends names of 42 ministerial nominees to Senate

……..12 former ministers re-appointed

Two months after his inauguration, with the country stalling without direction, President Muhammadu Buhari has finally sent his list of ministerial nominees to the senate, TheCable reports.

The list was sent to the Senate on Monday evening via executive communication, the paper reports, adding that is expected to be read on the floor of the Senate on Tuesday.

The list comes weeks after speculations were rife in the media that the list has been forwarded to the senate.

The Senate, which will be proceeding on a two-month recess on Thursday, is expected to screen the nominees which are 42 in number.

It was also gathered that only about 12 ministers will be re-appointed from the former cabinet.
