RVSG debunks APC claims linking Governor Wike with Ekiti salaries payment

The Rivers State Commissioner for Information and communication, Emma Okah, has reacted to claims by the All Progressive Congress in Rivers State, that the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, is planning to offset the 6 months salaries owed workers in Ekiti State; as part of efforts to ensure the PDP wins the Gubernatorial Polls billed to hold in the state next month, saying such allegations are gutter talks.

He said the APC should be preoccupied with tangible development it ought to have attracted to the State since it assumed power at the Federal level.

“The APC in Rivers State has turned themselves into an unrepentant lying machine, and unfortunately that is the name they prefer to be called. I call them liars.

“Rather than think of what to imagine and say in promoting falsehood, the APC should concern themselves with what they have done or brought to Rivers State since the APC took over the helm of affairs at the center.

“That should be the concern of everybody now, to the extent that they’re unable to show any concrete project that the Federal Government has done for Rivers State, it’s a shame.

“We don’t have time to begin to reply gutter talks and street utterances that have no bearing with realities on ground” he concluded.
