Indications emerged during the weekend that the gubernatorial hopeful of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State and Senator representing Rivers South-East Senatorial District in the National, Senator Magnus Ngei Abe, is set to open liaison/campaign offices in the 23 local government areas of Rivers State.
Theportcitynews.com gathered that the supporters were tasked with getting befitting office spaces where the ‘Freedom House’, as it is popularly called for each LGA would be located.
Speaking to supporters over the weekend, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Etche local government area, Hon. City Nwanyawu, confirmed the report, saying that the Senator is determined in his quest to occupy Brick House come 2019.
He emphasized that the support for the Senator is one that is devoid of intimidation, personal aggrandizement and injustice.
He, therefore, encouraged the supporters to be steadfast as there is hope that the Senator will emerge victorious in the end.
