Evans Bipi, Chairman of the Caretaker Committee (CTC) of Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area, has appointed five men to head the new executive council as he dissolves the former executives council led by Chief Adokiye Chuku.

The CTC boss, Bipi, made this known through a signed document shared on X Page on Tuesday. The document tagged the dissolution was read with immediate effect.

He highlighted the purpose of the appointment, which was to maintain a peaceful atmosphere, harmony, and social cohesion in the area.

He acknowledged that the newly appointed executive members were charged with the responsibility of piloting the affairs of the Ogu Divisional Council of Chiefs as they resumed offices with immediate effect.

CTC Boss Bipi highlighted the importance of the appointees with the aim of promoting good governance within the community.

The names of the five appointed members are Chief Frank Opumbire as Chairman, Chief Sotonye Igonibi as Vice Chairman, Chief Kennedy Agbanida-Oju as Secretary, Chief J. R. Amakiri as PRO, and Chief Justice Kienka as Provost.

Meanwhile, he issued a stern warning to the members of the public, companies, and corporate organisations to avoid striking deals with the former executives, as he said they would be doing so at their own risk, while he mentioned that the security personnels in the community had been notified of the new development.

“Companies and other corporate organisations operating in the area, as well as individuals, are, by this announcement, urged not to have any dealings with the Chief Adokiye Ochemiebia Chuku-led former Executives of the Ogu Divisional Council of Chiefs.

“Anyone who has dealings with the former Executives of the Council of Chiefs does so at their own risk,” CTC Boss, Bipi announced.
