Former Commander of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in charge of Khana Local Government Area of Rivers State, Ipianeh Godspower has accused ex militant Solomon Ndigbara of allegedly forming an empire of cultists in Ogoniland.

The security expert who made the revelation known to our correspondent said Ndigbara’s motive is to be in charge of pipeline surveillance contract in the area.

His words: “I can tell you without any fear or favour that Solomon Ndigbara is initiating the youths of Ogoni into Degbam cult group so as to establish his empire.

“He (Ndigbara) has conquered Zaakpor, Kono and Yeghe Communities where he hails from and he is trying to conquer my community, Uegwere Boue too.

“Now, he is forcing young boys to join Degbam cult group and any boy that refuses can not stay in Ogoniland.

“Ndigbara has vowed to deal with anyone who tries to expose him but people like us can not be coward because we want our land to be freed from cultism and other forms of criminality.”

You recall that of recent, Ogoniland has been ravaged by violent crimes which many experts have fingered cultism as the root cause.

As a result of gang violence, a lot of villagers in Ogoni communities had deserted their homes, seeking refuge in neighbouring communities.
