Alleged homosexual arraigned in Rivers court

The 27-year-old suspected homosexual accused of allegedly fondling the private parts of three underaged boys have been set up for trial in a Magistrate court in Port Harcourt.

Recall that TPCN reported the arrest of the suspect, identified as Ekpeye while trying to sodomize some children on Ekwulobia Street in Mile 3, Diobu area of Rivers State.

According to an eyewitness, the suspect had gone to the children playing in pretense as good people.

It was gathered that he had told the boys that he had money to buy them phones, bicycles, and food.

Further investigation revealed that the suspect had a bottle of the cream he allegedly used as a lubricant for sodomizing his victims.

However, the trial scheduled for Thursday has been rescheduled to commence from Monday due to the conference being held by the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA).

Meanwhile, the State Police Command has disclosed that one more male teenager has confessed that he was also assaulted by the suspect, increasing the number of alleged victims to four.

The command also warned that they would apprehend any parent who fails to bring their child to court on Monday when the suspect will be arraigned.

Also, the Human rights group Centre for Basic Rights Protection And Accountability Campaign has reiterated its stand to follow up the case in court until justice is served.
