Nollywood actress decries state of Entertainment Industry in the N’Delta

Nollywood actress, Matilda Gogo Lambert, has decried the state of the Entertainment Industry in the Niger Delta region.

Matilda Gogo Lambert, while speaking to TPCN ahead of her movie premiere in Port Harcourt, said there’s a need for corporate organizations to support the Entertainment industry in the region and that investments in the Entertainment industry will boost the economy of the region and create jobs for the teeming youths in the area.

“To me, I think it’s still backward. It’s not what we expect it to be, compared to other states in Nigeria.

“Like I said earlier on, Rivers State is a beautiful place. It’s a place where if the Government comes in to support us, we can actually make it even be more than Lagos, because everything Lagos is boasting off, we also have it in Rivers State.

Matilda Gogo Lambert went ahead to talk about the premiere of her new movie titled “InstaGuru”, which comes up on Friday, 29th June, in Port Harcourt and that the event will attract the crème de la crème of the Entertainment Industry in Nigeria.

“The red carpet starts by 4:30 pm and the movie show time is 7:30 pm.

“Meanwhile I have invited my colleagues like Kanayo .O. Kanayo, Pete Edochie, Patience Ozokwor who is popularly known as Mama G. She was there last year as well when I did the other premiere of the first movie.

“I’m also expecting Zach Orji and a lot of people. I can’t even mention everybody here.
