Suicide bomber dies while trying to bomb primary school in Ebonyi (Video)

A suspected suicide bomber has blown himself to death when his suicide strap exploded on his body on Tuesday in Afikpo town, Afikpo local government area of Ebonyi state.

It was gathered that the incident occurred at about 12:00 pm while he was entering Amaizu/ Amangballa Primary School.

Standard Observers reports that he was turned back by a security guard in the school security after he failed to explain the reason for his visit but all of a sudden began running inside a nearby bush where the said bomb exploded.

The explosion forced residents to scamper for safety. The incident later attracted buyers and sellers from the nearby Eke Afikpo Market.

The police could not be reached for comments at the time of filing this report.
