Robbers raid Rivers State University hostels, cart away valuables.

Four students, including a Porter, on Monday suffered various degrees of injuries following a Robbery incident in Hostel E at the Rivers State University.

The Robbery attack occurred in the boys hostel at about 2am with phones, Laptops, money and bags amongst others collected from the students.

Speaking during an interview with our correspondent, some of the victims of the attack narrated their ordeals in the hands of the Armed Robbers.

Some of the victims also called on Security Agencies to assist the school security in securing the lives and properties of the students of the institution.

On his path, the Dean of Student’s affairs of the institution, Dr Isaac Zeb-obipi, assured the students that the management is taking a step to see how the security of the students will be improved.

Our correspondent reports that there was no death recorded and the victims are responding to treatment.
