PDP will reconcile with Wike before elections – Gov Okowa

Delta State Governor and the Vice Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, has assured that the party will go into next year’s general elections united.

The governor gave the assurance on Friday, while speaking to newsmen after a closed door meeting with Governor Samuel Ortom at the Benue State Governor’s Lodge, Abuja.

Okowa said the reconciliation process initiated by leaders of the party to resolve all issues bediviling the party before and after its presidential primary was on.

The vice presidential candidate of the PDP noted that Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State is a strong party man who has worked very hard for the success of the PDP.

In his remarks, Governor Samuel Ortom said the leaders of the PDP are still discussing to ensure that aggrieved members are reconciled.

Recall that Governor Nyesom Wike had accused the party’s presidential cadidate, Atiku Abubakar of telling lies against him, noting that nobody has been sent to him for reconciliation.
