The Chairman of Ikwerre Local Government Area Samuel Wanosike has taken a swipe at the former Media Assistant to President Goodluck Jonathan, Dr. Reuben Abati over his attack on Governor Wike.

Dr. Reuben Abati had berated Governor Nyesom Wike over comments by the Governor that he did not ask the former Vice President of Nigeria and the PDP Presidential Candidate in the 2023 general election Atiku Abubakar the right questions during an interview session with the media station.

Samuel Wanosike while reacting to the comments by Dr. Reuben Abati accused the former Media Adviser to President Goodluck Jonathan sabotaged the good works of the former president.

The former PDP Spokesperson in Rivers State also said Reuben Abati could not showcase the good works of President Goodluck Jonathan who transformed Nigeria during his tenure.

”As a first-class graduate, he was supposed to be one of Nigeria’s best, who also bullied President Goodluck Jonathan into appointing him as his media Adviser. President Jonathan as recorded by IMF between the report of 2013 and 2014 was considered a man that was running an economy that was the fastest growing economy on the continent, but yet Lai Mohammed sold lies to Nigerians, beat Reuben Abati to the media battles, and war, yet Nigerians couldn’t appreciate the good work of Jonathan because he (Reuben Abati) has no capacity to sell the good work of President Jonathan”.

”In fact, we can accuse Dr. Reuben Abati of sabotaging the victory of President Goodluck Jonathan, that’s why former President Jonathan lost the 2015 presidential election and that is why Nigerians are now suffering under the APC-led leadership”.

Wanosike also said that Governor Nyesom Wike will forever remain in the minds of the Rivers people because of his infrastructural development in the state.

Samuel Wanosike also called for the resignation of the National Chairman of the PDP Senator Iyochia Ayu.

He said the PDP National Chairman should throw in the towel for the sake of equity in the party.

The PDP Chieftain in Rivers State alleged that the National Chairman of the PDP was biased towards Governor Nyesom Wike during the party’s presidential primaries.

He, however, advised Senator Iyochia Ayu to follow the honourable path and resign his position as the National Chairman of the party.
