The ONELGA Security Peace and Advisory Council (OSPAC) has vowed to go after the killers of its Emohua LGA commander, Alex Umezuruike who was beheaded recently by suspected cultists.

Umezuruike was killed few weeks after the political authority of Emohua LGA disbanded the Omodioga Security Peace and Advisory Committee headed by him.

Speaking with our correspondent, the Secretary-General of OSPAC, Eze Gift Ohia insisted that the killers of Umezuruike must be brought to book.

He said, “from our findings, there is a political conspiracy behind the beheading of Umezuruike.

“As I speak to you, the political leaders of Umezuruike have not come out to condemn the barbaric killing of our commander, neither have they made any effort to bring his killers to justice.

“But their conspiracy in killing Umezuruike can not stop us from making sure that his killers are brought to book.”

OSPAC also lampooned the state police command for describing the beheading of Umezuruike as cult clash.

Ohia narrated that the deceased was in his house at his Omodioga hometown when his killers stormed his residence.

The killers took their time to kill him, dismember his private organ, heart, arms, head and put in a basin before fleeing with his body parts.

How can the police call that a cult clash? Ohia asked, adding that the Umezuruike they know had been a peace fighter not cultist.
