After Lulu-Briggs, NDBA Fin. Dir. joins Rivers governorship race

Alabo Francis-Ebenezer, the Executive Director of Finance and Administration, Niger Delta Basin Authority has declared interest to contest in the 2023 governorship elections in Rivers State.

Ebenezer is the second political top shot to declare interest to replace Governor Nyesom Wike after Dumo Lulu-Briggs.

Ebenezer made the declaration at the APC secretariat in Port Harcourt Monday in the presence of party leaders.

The clergyman noted that he decided to vie for the seat of the helmsman following the continuous dictatorship and misrule by the current administration in the state.

He added that it is only the APC that can deliver Rivers State from the maladministration of Wike’s government.

He explained that he cannot continue to remain quiet and allow the State to be governed by selfish leaders who use the state treasury to nurse their ambitions.

Speaking further, he said his aim was to deliver the people from servitude and bondage.

Rev Ebenezer asserted that if given the opportunity by the party leadership to run in 2023 in the brick house, he would galvanize the fortunes of the state towards fulfilling the Rivers State dreams.

He called on party faithful and coordinators in all the wards and local government to immediately start working for a prosperous Rivers State.
