Inter Milan consider offloading Denzel Dumfries

Inter Milan are reportedly ready to offload Denzel Dumfries this summer amidst interest from Manchester United.

The right-back defender recently joined Inter Milan last summer from PSV Eindhoven and currently has four years left to run on his contract at inter Milan.

A new report suggests that Man United would consider a bid for Dumfries if they are able to sell Aaron Wan-Bissaka this summer.

Ten Hag has not been impressed by Wan Bissaka, and is actively looking to get rid of the Englishman, a player like Dumfries would come in handy. Without doubt he would be a real upgrade on Wan Bissaka who has been unable to meet expectations at Old Trafford.

With the fair valuation by Inter despite the defender being left with three years on his current contract, a deal is there to be done by United.

Manchester United’s pursuit of the 26-year-old looks to have received a boost, with Inter Milan reportedly trying to disengage the Netherlands international.

According to the Daily Mail, Inter are also trying to sell Alexis Sanchez, Edin Dzeko, and Dumfries this summer in a bid to free up wages to make further additions to Simone Inzaghi’s squad.

The report says that the Italian club value Dumfries at £50m, and although the Red Devils are preparing to make a bid, they are expected to submit an offer below Inter’s asking price.
