Security has collapsed in Rivers State – APC guber aspirant

Ibinabo Micheal West, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and a governorship aspirant in Rivers State has said security in the state has collapsed.

He added that there is a high level of unemployment and poverty in the state which he said is unacceptable and will not be acceptable in 2023.

Speaking during a campaign visit to Ogu-Bolo Local government area, he said his efforts as a former commissioner of Transportation earned him an award and appreciation by the forum of Permanent Secretaries headed by Mrs Ene Secondus.

He added that he left a big shoe behind as a former House of Assemblymember which is yet to be covered by others.

He hinted that the collapse of Security in the state, the level of unemployment and poverty, the total negligence in promoting civil servants statutorily, and the lack of attention to human capital development in Rivers State are unacceptable and will be corrected in 2023.

He also remarked that the developmental revolution of the Former Governor of Rivers State and current Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi positively affected all sectors of the economy of Rivers State.
