The proxy fighters of the Nigerian military, the Civilian JTF has vowed to fish out the members of the terrorist group, the Islamic State West African Province who attacked the St Francis Catholic Church, Ondo State.
The Civilian JTF made this known days after the federal government accused ISWAP of masterminding the attack on the church which left about 40 worshippers killed.
Briefing newsmen at the end of the National Security Council meeting presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House, Abuja last week, the Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola also said the attack was not ethno religious.
In an interview with our correspondent, the South-South/South-East Commander of the Civilian JTF, Nwachukwu Adah said, “I can confirm to you that we are all out against ISWAP terrorists.
“That church of God they attacked showed that their days are numbered and in the next coming days, you will hear the combat result.
“Nothing on earth will save those terrorists that attacked the church in Owo, Ondo State.
“I am not permitted to expose how far we have gone in our operational strategy to eliminate terrorists in this country.
“We work with the Nigerian military and we have received high powered intelligence and equipment that would aid us get rid of ISWAP in the country.”
