Hundreds of people watched the grim verdict, including school pupils in uniforms, according to local media.
The Government arranged the very public hearing on the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, on June 26.
Cai Liqun, 39, was found guilty of selling methamphetamine and clubbing drug, magu – a mixture of methamphetamine and caffeine.
He received the drugs via mail before selling them between September and November 2015.
Huang Zhengye, 36, was found guilty of selling and transporting methamphetamine.

The courts also gave public trials to 17 other drug dealers – with eight being sentenced to death
It was organised by the local Qiongshan Court and the Haikou Intermediate People’s Court.
A female judge told a crowd of 300: “‘Now I announce, take Cai Liqun and Huang Zhenye to the execution ground and carry out the execution by shooting.”
The courts also gave public trials to 17 other drug dealers.
According to chinacourt.org eight of them were given death sentences or death sentences with reprieve.
The legal spectacles are often held in front of thousands of people.
Verdicts are decided beforehand but read in public as a way of warning other would-be offenders.
Pan Hui, a teacher from the local Yunlong Middle School, said: “Our school has been carrying out anti-drug educational campaigns constantly to keep the students away from drugs.”
