Chairman of the Rivers State Civil Society Organizations, Enefaa Georgewill has called on the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike to accept the debate challenge thrown at him, by his Ebonyi State counterpart, Dave Umahi.
Georgewill, in a statement via his social media, said the debate would reveal a lot about state funds put in their care.
According to him, “You People Should Stop Arguing. Wike Should Accept Umahi’s Debate Challenge. They Will Reveal A Lot About Our Money. Na 25 Years Old Billionaire Everybody Dey Talk,” he said.
“Lets Know Who Is Parking Our Money. Distractors!” he added.
Umahi had during an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today, challenged Wike, who he said orchestrated the plan for his removal to a debate.
The governor, who accused his Rivers counterpart of stealing public funds, said he had immunity not to be sued.
He said he was thankful to Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the man, who he said had boasted about being behind the court order that sacked him and his deputy from office over their defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
