Students of the Rivers State University have reacted over the 100 per cent increment in tuition fees by the Rivers State University management.
In the new school fees schedule obtained by theportcitynews, Rivers State indigenes would pay from N65 000 to N90 000 as against the initial 43 000 while non-indigenes would pay from N120 000 to 150 000 as against the initial 70 000.

The Rivers State budget for 2019 is N418bn and education was allocated N40bn, the current school fees on the school page is N43,000 if we multiply that by 22 thousand students it's N9.4bn this is minus the school's IGR, Postgraduate, Masters and PhD degrees, are all these

So, Rivers State University somehow found out 90M missing in their funds wasn't accounted for. Investigations were done and it happened that the ICT department has been generating fake pins for payment since 2013.
