A suspected fetish Bird has been found butchered inside the Rivers State Judiciary Court Premises.

The mysterious Bird was discovered dead in the early hours of Tuesday behind the office of the Chief Judge, with it head cut off and some fetish objects around it.

In an interview with our correspondent, Acting Chief Registrar, David Ihua-Maduenyi, expressed concern over the incidence, while maintaining that it is the second time they are witnessing such in the High Court Premises.

He, however, said that some security measures will be imposed in the court premises for proper monitoring of the area.

“We woke up and saw dead bird dissected, head cut off, the first time it happened was near the Chief Judge Court room with a candle and fetish things around it and we took it for granted then.

“We are very worried, but we are not scared, we are thinking of imposing security measures to monitor people coming in and leaving the court premises to enable us know all the happenings around the court area.

Ihua-Maduenyi further urged Staff and litigants to be more security conscious and alert in the environment, report any suspicious movement around the court premises, while urging them to go about their normal daily activities without fear.
