Lahteh Lah-Loolo, the chairman of Khana Local Government Area has said his administration will partner with the Ogoni chambers of commerce and industry in a bid to organize an economic summit in the area so as to attract investors to Ogoni land.
He stated this during a courtesy visit by the leadership of Ogoni chambers of commerce and industry led by its vice president Dr Leloonu Nwibubaasa in Bori.
Loolo noted that the relative peace enjoyed in the area requires that investments strive in the area as such will ensure that the youths are engaged and employed and also help in developing the region.
He said that the dual-carriageway constructed by the Rivers State government has opened up the area and has made it investors’ friendly.
Dr Leloonu Nwibubaasa said the group will synergize with the khana Local govt council to bring investors to the area, especially foreign investors from other parts of the globe.
He added that their formal inauguration slated for next September where business partners all over the nation will converge in Bori for the event.
