Following the current unrest in different parts of Rivers state, Elechi Amadi polytechnic formerly known as Port Harcourt polytechnic has suspended its on going second semester examination till further notice.
This was made known to students who went to school to continue to with their examination and were told to go home and be safe first. They were told that the school will communicate to them when to come back and continue as their safety is of paramount importance at the moment.
The instruction by the school administration is informed by the several civil unrest that has been witnessed in some areas in Rivers state yesterday that led to the governor placing a curfew on some parts of the state.
Recall that it was few weeks ago that schools were resumed nation wide after students have been at home due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
