Declare state of emergency in Ahoada West – Activist urges Wike

A human rights Activist and social crusader comrade Alex Alabrima Jnr has called on the governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike to declare a State of emergency in Ahoada West local government area over rising insecurity and cult-related killings.

Alabrima said that since the notorious cultist, General Kumasi was gunned down last year by soldiers, the people of Ahoada West can no longer sleep with their two eyes closed.

According to him, the boys of the late Kumasi have kept invading the communities and killing people on a daily basis.

“Every day in Ahoada West, we see lifeless dead bodies and the local government chairman Hon Hope Ikiriko seems to be helpless.

“Just this week, these boys invaded the Oshie community leaving 3 people dead.

“I am hereby calling on the governor chief Barr Nysom Wike to urgently deploy military men that can chase these hoodlums out of the local government, thanks for your prompt response”
