Chairman of Ikwerre Local Government Area, Engr. Samuel Nwanosike has called out the 2015 governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Rivers State, Dr Dakuku Peterside over his comments about Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike.
Dakuku had, in a statement said Wike is building multiple flyovers at the expense of rural development, human capital development among other things.
However, speaking to journalists on Monday, Nwanosike said Dakuku’s comment only showed he is ignorant about governance.
Nwanosike maintained that Wike has built infrastructures in all sectors of the economy in the state, noting that under the current administration, 75 per cent of the oil companies that left Port Harcourt, have returned from Lagos.
He said the returnees were comfortably doing business in the state, due to the governor’s achievements in the area of security.
The council chairman also noted that ongoing constructions in the state have fueled job creation and other transformations in the state.
