The Executive Chairman of Ahoada-East Local Government Area, Barr Ben Eke has promised to bring dividends of democracy to his people as part of efforts to make his administration the envy of others.
Barr Ben Eke made this known to TPCN Correspondent John Diidi in Ahoada shortly after swearing-in of the Deputy Chairman and 13 ward Councillors at the Council Secretariat.
The Executive Chairman commended the Governor for returning peace to the domain and urged Council workers to be regular at work and resume on time, as their salaries will be paid regularly and as at when due, hence he deserves their full corporation.
He further outlined his signature projects to mark his first 100 days in office.
He said his administration will commence construction of the first phase of Ahoada City Stadium which include fencing of the land and laying of the soccer pitch, saying the local Government has already procured a site for the project.
Also, the completion of a library building and the establishment of a skill acquisition center where youths of the local Government will learn trades like pipeline welding and allied skills to reduce unemployment will be done in his first 100 days in office he added.
The Chairman also announced Mr. Ishmael Lazarus as the Secretary of the Council.
