Wife of James Rynerson, an inmate in America has forced her husband back to jail to complete his jail term following his untimely return home .
According to a daily, the 38 year old was being held in custody late May at the Mesa County Jail on menacing, disorderly conduct and trespass charges. It is reported that alongside those charges he now faces fresh charges of escape, forgery and criminal impersonation.
Rynerson was released after Mesa County sheriff’s deputies at the Jail mistook him for another inmate, Marvin March. The Jail staff reportedly failed to check the wristband and picture of the inmate who was mistaken for March. March was awaiting release from jail.
Rynerson allegedly enjoyed less than two hours of freedom before his wife realized the error.
Mesa County Sheriff’s Sgt. Henry Stoffel said on Wednesday that jail employees broke procedure when they failed to check Rynerson’s wristband and picture. Sgt. Soffel noted that an investigation is ongoing to determine whether jail policy around the housing list needs to be updated.
Stoffel credited Rynerson’s wife for returning her husband to custody.
