The Record Academy has announced nominees for the 64th edition of the Grammy awards ceremony, scheduled to hold in Los Angeles on January 2022.
Nominees for the 2022 awards ceremony were revealed on Tuesday during the Academy’s second-annual virtual event at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles.
Nominees from Africa include afrobeat legend Femi Kuti and his son, Made Kuti; Ayo Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid and Angélique Kidjo, who was nominated under the Best Global Music Album category.
