Shan George gets scammed of 3.6 million naira cries out on Instagram

Veteran actress Shan George has taken to her Instagram platform to make a distressing plea for help, revealing that her Zenith Bank account has been shockingly drained of N3.6 million by an individual identified as Cecilia Chiagoziem Okoro. The actress, visibly distraught, shared a screenshot of the debit alert on her Instagram account, where she poured out her anguish, stating, “I need help cos I’m dy!ng. This person has just cleared my account. Pls my pple, everyone pls help. Pls Zenith Bank, Reverse it. I can’t access my app. I’m De@D.”

In a subsequent video shared on her Instagram, Shan George further detailed the dire situation, pleading for assistance from all available quarters. She tearfully recounted the incident, highlighting the name of the individual responsible for the unauthorized transaction and the staggering amount involved. “Cecilia Chiagoziem Okoro, that is the name of the person that has just wiped all the money in my account, 3.6 million into an Opay account,” she lamented.

With desperation evident in her voice and demeanor, Shan George appealed to Zenith Bank, Opay, and even the Nigerian authorities, including the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Nigerian Police Force, to urgently intervene and rectify the situation. “I am begging everybody, please Zenith bank, Opay, Abeg make una help me. I take God beg una. I don’t have any kobo anywhere again, what will I eat? I no fit beg, I beg una, make una help me,” she implored.

The gravity of the matter was further emphasized by Shan George as she stressed that the incident had occurred just moments before she recorded the video, underscoring the urgency of her appeal. “It’s just today, 3rd of May, it’s not even up to an hour ago from now that I am doing this video,” she revealed, indicating the immediacy of the need for assistance. In the midst of her distress, Shan George’s plea serves as a poignant reminder of the vulnerability individuals face in the digital age and the devastating impact of financial fraud. As her heartfelt cry for help reverberates across social media platforms, one can only hope that swift action will be taken to address her plight and ensure that justice is served.
